Welcome. My name is Eunice Phipps, I'm a Marriage Celebrant based in Logan in Queensland, serving all of Logan City and surrounding areas, north, south, east and west; available for Weddings, Namings, Renewal of Vows and Commitments.
You can contact me by phone on: 07 3290 4247 by mobile on: 0407 133 052 or by email at: ephipps@optusnet.com.au
You and your ceremony are important to me and it is for that reason that I have a one ceremony per day policy, unlike many celebrants who will take multiple bookings for the same day. Although this restricts the number of ceremonies I officiate at each year, by doing this you are assured my full undivided attention on your special day. I have been a Celebrant since 2008 and never grow tired of that magical moment when I pronounce a couple to be husband and wife.
I keep my fees at an affordable price because I genuinely care about my couples.
The Wedding Ceremony You met, you dated, you fell in love; he asked you to marry him or maybe she asked you to marry her. The stage is set for one of life's most important steps....the ultimate expression of your love, that is to become husband and wife and live happily ever after. Couples of all ages and from all walks of life, fall in love every day and when they do, I am their Celebrant in need, here to help them on their journey into wedded bliss.
It is said that marriage is the final step in a relationship, but that is not the case at all. Marriage is the first step on a journey that will take you a lifetime to complete.
Please Note: A non-refundable Booking Fee of $150 applies to all ceremonies and will be included in your quoted price.
Same Sex Marriage Love knows no boundaries; I am happy to work with couples of the same gender. All of the wedding ceremonies listed on this website are available for same sex marriages.
Wedding Ceremony Types Available People are different; they have different likes and dislikes and different budgets for their ceremony; what suits one couple doesn't necessarily suit another. Listed below are the three different types of marriage ceremonies I offer.
Elopements The celebrant, the couple and two witnesses are the only people present at these ceremonies, which are becoming more and more popular with couples who are wanting quick simple and intimate ceremonies which many choose to refer to as a Legal Only Wedding Ceremony. These ceremonies are perfect for couples who have already "married" outside of Australia in a cultural Wedding Ceremony where no legal documents were signed and therefore isn't recognised in Australia as a legally binding marriage. The couple then have an elopement ceremony here in Australia to make it legal. No rehearsal necessary.
Budget wedding ceremony Your choice of three different pre written ceremonies . Designed for those on a tight budget or who are having only a small number of guests. No physical rehearsal included in the budget price, however you do receive a rehearsal on paper when you receive the final draft of your ceremony. We then go through your ceremony together at our final meeting, so you know what to do and where to stand on the big day. Alternatively I will add a physical rehearsal for an extra $50. These ceremonies are by far my most popular choice with couples of all ages and from all walks of life..
Personalised Wedding ceremony Your ceremony, your way. I work closely with you, to ensure that your ceremony is a reflection of your love and your personalities. It tells your story, includes your choice of vows. Your choice of poems and readings and your choice of rituals are added to help enhance the ceremony content making it uniquely yours. You can write your own vows or use one of my many samples. Rehearsal included in the price.
Also Available Naming ceremony Life's greatest joy is in that moment when our children are born, or when we finally take an adopted child into our lives. Babies bring such joy; they strengthen our relationship, as we become parents and create a family unit of our own. It used to be that children were Christened or Baptised in a church by a minister of religion but in today's modern lifestyle it is more common for couples to engage a celebrant to officiate over proceedings when they formally name their baby and welcome him/her into their circle of family and friends.
Renewal of Vows Ceremony Rekindle the flame of love as you mark a milestone Wedding Anniversary by renewing your Marriage Vows. What better way to say 'I love you and I am happy to continue spending my life with you', than to express your love through a Renewal of Vows Ceremony. As a Logan Celebrant, I am privileged to meet the nicest people and be asked to share in their joy. It is common for a couple to engage me as the Celebrant for their Wedding, then again to formally welcome and name their children and then to Renew their Wedding Vows. I literally watch their relationship blossom and grow. You can use the same vows as you did on your Wedding Day, or you can chose from the many vows in my collection. A relaxed and happy occasion in celebration of your continuing love.
Commitment Ceremony Some couples, for whatever reason, may not want to commit to the legally binding contract of marriage, but still wish to proclaim their love and commitment to one another in a ceremony, with family and friends as their witnesses. A Commitment Ceremony is the perfect solution. You can use the same structure as for a wedding ceremony but without the legal vows and celebrant's authority. Instead of husband and wife you are declared to be life partners. Important note: To receive a quote for your ceremony, please call me obligation free, for a chat about your ceremony plans and options, or you can email me with your contact details and I will get back to you, or send any requested information by return email.
